ILLUSTRATION-LED FESTIVAL BRANDING

Taste of Tasmania Visual Identity

At the time of my involvement, Taste of Tasmania was Australia's largest food and wine festival. The festival logo had already been developed by a local agency, and I was engaged to build the broader visual identity around it, developing a cohesive illustration-led system across marketing collateral, digital assets and large-scale festival signage.

The brief called for a sense of celebration and wonder. I designed over 35 illustrated assets that could work individually or combine into intricate illustrated frames, forming a flexible system applied consistently across the festival's communications.

In the second year, the direction shifted toward local produce and the Tasmanian landscape. Building on the established visual language, I expanded the identity and designed the full suite of onsite signage, ensuring everything held together across both digital and physical festival experiences.
